About SS Cars SS 1 Open Four-Seater

The model was announced in 1933, and already in 1934 appeared in the catalogs of the company's models. Also known as "Open Four Seater Sports" or "Tourer". The reason for the creation of the model in this particular body was, most likely, two factors: the successful sales of the first two types of SS 1 Coupe models and the popularity of “Tourer” cars in the late 30s. In general, it can simply be called an extension of the SS 1 model range.

The car was already built on an updated chassis and a “Standard” engine with increased power. The possible reasons for the upgrade are written in the history of the SS 1 Coupe model .

A car of this model was sold from 1933 to 1936. The exact number of models produced could not be established, although there is information about about 600 cars.
